This extra-large board doubles as a carving board and, flipped over, as an all-round kitchen, chopping and serving board. At a comfy 4cms thick it can take heavy-duty chopping on its plain side while the ample groove on the flip side will collect all the gravy-making juices from the Sunday roast. You can also use the carver side of the board to serve juicy fruits like watermelon and pineapple and stop those sticky juices from running all over the table. Made from sustainably grown Tasmanian Blackwood, the size of the board is a generous 50cm by 34cm and features ample finger grooves on each side plus a deep well with a funnel to allow easy pouring of juices into a jug. This board is durable and will do heavy-duty but the 2 sides mean you can do it all with the one board instead of several, saving space and hassle; you can even take it out of the kitchen for cutting fruit or cheese on a picnic or pile it up with chops and sausages from the BBQ - a perfect gift for a foodie! If, after years of use your board is starting to look a bit rough, there is plenty of solid wood there to allow for a good sanding down and oiling, bringing it back to new.
