These beautifully made and presented cheese boards are like a lesson in decorative Australian timbers with their lovely combinations of contrasting grains and colours. Some usual combinations will be a selection of Blackwood, Tasmanian Oak, Qld Maple, Rosewood, River Oak, Prickly Ash, Banksia, Ironbark, Macadamia and Silver Ash but even more unusual timbers may be used depending upon availability, always combined with an eye to overall design and harmony. The handles, elevated from the underside of the board make for easy lifting. The main body of the board has a printed card listing the timbers from outside edge to middle. The Tubb cheese board with its elegant proportions will be attractive in any table setting and its detailed listing of Australian timbers makes a wonderful overseas gift.
